Then I found myself leading the engineering separation of a global organization into a completely new company. Hundreds of engineers were affected, while critical operations and international collaboration had to continue without interruption. There was no playbook for what we were facing.

That experience completely changed my understanding of leadership. I realized that strategy, technology, and processes are not enough. When everything around you is changing, you need leaders who can bring people together, create clarity and direction, and help people move forward with confidence.
